The Central Library of Women’s College Tinsukia, which is named after its Founder Principal Late Uma Prasanna De was established in the year 1966 to provide library service to its academic community. Right from its inception the thrust has been on creating effective library collection for its clientele.
Presently it has a collection of 40,523 books and 11,416 other printed materials including Question Papers, Bound Periodicals, Leaflets and Maps. The library subscribes to 32 journals and magazines and 9 newspapers. It has also taken part in the NLIST (National Library and Information Services Infrastructure for Scholarly Content) Programme hosted by INFLIBNET centre Ahmadabad. The library has been rendering service not only to the academic community of the college but to readers from outside of the college also.';
