Women's College, Tinsukia has a Study Centre (0403) of Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU), which offers a broad spectrum of Courses (Certificate, Diploma, Undergraduate, Post Graduate) in Distance Education Mode. Dress Code for H.S. and B.A. Students:
White blouse, white mekhela and chadar with sky blue border or white blouse, white saree with sky blue border; alternatively, white kamij, white salwar with sky blue scarf. During Winter they may wear navy blue cardigan or blazer. Students must put on the College Badge also.
Students of the College are entitled to travel concession on their way home from the institution and back during the vacation as well as in case of any travel done by them as per Govt. rules. This is applicable to both rail and air travels.
Alumnae Association :
The Alumnae Association of Women's College, Tinsukia encourages interaction between past and present student members of the Women's College, Tinsukia community. The Association actively participates in the all round development of the college. Membership is open to any one who has completed a course in the College. Women's Studies & Development Cell:
The Women's Studies and Development Cell of the college is affiliated to Women's Study Cell of Dibrugarh University. Teachers, students and non-teaching staff can be members of the Cell and the annual membership fee is Rs. 100/-. The Cell is dedicated to social welfare activities specially relevant to women and also takes up survey and research on women related problems and their solutions for the overall development of the society.
